‘Tis the season for silver bells.. and silver dressers!
After Mike and I got married in early 2015, we scoured Craigslist and welcomed family giveaways to furnish our home. Now that we have settled in a bit, we’re ready to start adding our personal design to each room. Yippee!
I love our master bedroom. I’ve always wanted our bedroom to feel a bit like an oasis, full of comfort and relaxation. When we moved in, I was seven months pregnant. Mike and our sweet friends took an evening to paint our bedroom a nice, soft gray (Behr – Silver Bullet) and set up our room. Mike built our headboard and several beautiful floating shelves (tutorials to come!) and finished off the walls with a sweet print of our favorite verse using a frame my grandfather had built before he passed away. Now, we are ready to swap out our Craiglist dresser and upgrade to something new. We recently found a cozy chair (here) to add in the corner.. it arrives today! To fill in the other half of the wall, we have the idea of adding a silver dresser to balance out our dark bed and brighten the room a bit. I’ve found several beautiful pieces, and wanted to share them with you.
The detail on the shelves is so charming!
We have a tall bed, so the height of this five-drawer dresser would balance our room nicely. This has a simple and elegant appearance, and the rings instead of knobs add a nice touch (I think our toddler would love this detail as well!)
The patterned face of this dresser makes it an incredible accent piece for a bedroom. It’s smaller than the space we are looking to fill in our room, but I just couldn’t pass up sharing it with you all. Although, I’ll keep looking to see if this comes in a larger size!
